Welcome to another instalment of my Catch Up Series. This month I sat down with with Hassan. I’ve known Hass for a few years now and have had the pleasure of dressing him for some very special occasions as well as day to day to wear. We often spend hours talking about life, fashion, philosophy, cars and watches. Here’s a little insight into Hassan. I hope you enjoy.
1. Tell us about what you do for work and what is the most exciting thing that has happened in the last couple of months?
I am the Director and Construction Manager for my company. We specialise in concrete super structure and sub structure design and construction. Our services ultimately offer end to end solutions to the building industry. During the last couple of months, we have seen a spike in the number of enquiries coming through for our tailored solutions, in turn instilling confidence within the team and our senior management as we look into the future. This has driven us to invest in the latest engineering and management software to further enhance our market share.
2. How would you describe your general style and what do you wear on a daily basis?
I’d say my style is simple and classic. I prefer to wear colours that are more understated and in tune with my character. My daily kit consists of Carl’s chinos, shirt and sports jacket.
3. You always look so dapper. Why is dressing up important to you?
Dressing up is so important to me as it instills an element of confidence that allows me to perform at my utmost in every situation. I feel that there is a certain respect paid to individuals that invest in their attire and overall presentation.
4. How many Carl Navè pieces do you own, and which is your favourite and why?
I have three suits, six pairs of chinos, ten shirts, three sports jackets and two ties. It is very hard to pick a favourite.. but I would have to say my navy window pane double breasted suit and the latest set of chinos.
