When you decide to have your wedding in an exotic location, such as Gibraltar, your suit of choice really needs to pop. And boy did these suits pop.
I first met Alae and Andrew a few months before their big day, and I was instantly taken by their excitement and enthusiasm. I knew they both had the flair and the confidence it took to carry off these numbers. The Vitale Barberis Canonico (VBC) “Summer Jacketing” collection contains some truly special cloth, mostly blended wool, silk and linen, which is how they the beautiful textures and variation of colour in this cloth.
Alae fell in love with a peachy wool and linen cloth. The perfect luxurious look and feel for a custom made made to measure sports jacket to wear in Gibraltar. Given the season, I felt it appropriate to suggest a beautiful cream trouser, also from the amazing VBC. All of this was set off with a beautiful pair of tan Oxfords and Mother of Pearl buttons for the sports jacket.
Andrew on the other hand, was taken by navy, fuchsia and white plaid number from the same VBC range. The look we channeled was “Reefer with a Difference”. The styling of the jacket was quite classic, with the the addition of patch pockets and navy and gold Fluer de Lis buttons for a bit of quirk. But of course it was the bold pink trouser that really set the look on fire.
Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you for sharing your beautiful photos.
