It’s been a little while since these two walked down the aisle, but looking at the photos I feel like it was only yesterday when Brent and I sat down to speak about his vision.
Brent and Tessa were married in Victoria’s Yarra Valley back in 2019 in a beautiful ceremony with an equally beautiful location.
Brent had a very clear image of how we wanted to present himself on his big day. The vision entailed a three-piece ensemble with some detail and a bow tie.
I began sourcing some brocade style cloth to create a contrast waistcoat to complete the tone of the blue suit, which Brent had selected. Whilst looking at the swatches we thought it would be a lovely idea to carry the contrast fabric onto the lapel and highlight it with French navy satin. Traditionally French in styling, but with a more contemporary silhouette, we opted for a bow tie instead of a cravat, which is more commonly worn for weddings.
Brent looked very elegant standing beside his beautiful bride. Naturally, I hadn’t seen Tessa’s dress beforehand, but we had discussed the lace detail and wanted to incorporate some lace type brocade pattern into Brent’s suit. The result, in my opinion, was perfect.
Congratulations Brent & Tessa, it was such a pleasure working with you and your bridal party.
All the best
