William & Sonja

I think Will first reached out to me via Instagram (it’s good to know that my time and efforts on social media are worthwhile), he was inspired by a suit that I had made for another client and wanted to talk about his wedding suit.

Will knew exactly what he wanted for himself and his groom’s men.  He had envisaged a navy blue double breasted suit for some time, but I think it was the addition of gold naval buttons which really completed the look.  As always, I look for ways to make the groom stand out from the groom’s men, and this was the perfect way.

We chose a beautiful worsted wool from Dugdale Bros. in the UK for the entire groom’s party, but opted for single breasted for the boys.  The cloth was a sturdy 320 gsm, which allowed for a beautiful drape and a super fitted silhouette.  The heavier cloth the more  robust the suit is, so these guys will get to enjoy these suits for many years to come.

Each suit was cut entirely to the shape and style required by the boys.  We produced varying styles of slim and classic fits for Will, David and Cuong, with personalised choices such as cuffed pants, side adjusters, contrast lining and embroidery.

The rest was fairly simple.  A crisp white shirt, bespoke hand made burgundy Grenadine ties, which I have made out of Italy and of course a beautiful pair of Edward Green brogues.  All of this complimented the beauty of the bride and her lovely bridesmaids.

They saw the simplest things are the hardest to get right, but I think together, we nailed it.  If I do say so myself.
